All common species of Pacific
Salmon are present and commercially fished in Cook Inlet each year: King or
Chinook, Red or Sockeye, Silver or Coho, Pink or Humpy and Chum or Keta. The
Red or Sockeye Pacific Star Seafoods exercises the utmost care in weighing, icing and sorting each load of salmon delivered by a fisher during the course of the fishing season. Cleaning and grading of the salmon by Pacific Star workers follows shortly after each delivery is made. A strict cleanliness and quality control program is always in effect and is strictly enforced. The finished product, whether fresh or frozen, is available to the consumer within hours of delivery. Our workers pride themselves in knowing our finished product is the best available, bar none. |
